Deadlines

When will the grants portal be open to access Letters of Intent (LOIs)?

The grants portal will be open a month prior to the deadline .

For the Spring Housing (Homeless Services) Grant Cycle, the portal will be open on March 1^st and the deadline to submit the LOI is April 1^st.

For the Fall Health Care Grant Cycle, the portal will be open on September 1^st and the deadline to submit the LOI is October 1^st.

There is no RFP link on the website. OR I cannot access the RFP on the website.

RFPs are invite-only. If your organization is selected to submit a full application, you will receive an email with the link.

My organization is a long-time grantee partner. Do I still need to submit a LOI?

Yes, all applicants must submit a LOI regardless of funding history.

Eligibility

Is the Blowitz-Ridgeway Foundation currently accepting unsolicited grant applications?

Yes. If you meet the guidelines, you may submit a Letter of Intent through the grants management system. Please note that we do not accept unsolicited requests by mail or email.

My organization serves multiple counties. Do we still qualify under the new geographic focus area?

It depends. If most of the population served is in Cook County, then you still qualify. Contact the Foundation for more information.

The grants application portal login was connected to a former staff member, and I do not have the password.

If you need to change email contact for your organization, please contact the Grants Manager to reset your login with the new email.

I am having trouble accessing my organization’s file in the grants management program.

Please try using a different web browser, or clear the current browsing history and data, and then try again. If you are still having difficulty with your login, please contact the Grants Manager.
